A little of your time can mean a lot.
You do not need a special skill to care about older adults. We want to build a thoughtful, dependable volunteer community throughout Baltimore.
Ways to be involved
Choose what feels natural to you.
We are gathering volunteer interest for the future pilot. Opportunities will depend on training, scheduling, safety needs, and program readiness.
Friendly calls
Make time for conversation and check-ins with an older neighbor.
Friendly visits
Spend quality time with someone at home or in a senior community, once the visiting program is established.
Little surprises
Help with birthdays, notes, packages, and moments worth remembering.
Bring an activity
Share a hobby, game, story, song, craft, or group experience.
Community projects
Organize a group event with a synagogue, school, or neighborhood team.
Help behind the scenes
Support outreach, planning, program materials, scheduling, and fundraising preparation.
Volunteer interest
Tell us a bit about yourself.
We're building a list of interested adult volunteers as we form the organization. This is not yet an active volunteer placement application.
- Adult volunteers will need appropriate screening and orientation.
- Visits will only begin when supervision and safety procedures are ready.
- Schools and youth groups can inquire about supervised group opportunities on the partner page.
